Loreto is working through a process to consider potential uses for 69 Webster Street, and position it for a future sale – investigating a range of options in the interests of shaping the best outcome for this landmark site.
This process has included consultation with stakeholders and the local community to understand their views and working with planners and local and State Government to consider a framework to guide any future development.
Recognising the site’s unique history, Loreto has also ensured that the iconic, original School and Convent building will be protected and preserved, with the building successfully added to the Western Australian State Register of Heritage Places in June 2024.
As this process continues, Loreto will continue to provide information as it comes to hand.
